Monthly interest rate (मासिक ब्याज दर)
A monthly interest rate expresses loan interest as a percentage charged per month instead of per year. Multiply by 12 for a rough annual figure, but remember the true APR is higher once fees are added.
Worked example
2% per month on ₹10,000 means ₹200 interest each month, about ₹600 over a 3-month tenure — roughly 24% a year before fees. Total repayment: about ₹10,600 plus any processing fee.
