How we make money
KredBaba is free for borrowers — always. We never charge you a fee, and no legitimate intermediary ever asks for money to "release" a loan.
Who pays us
Our RBI-registered NBFC lending partners pay us a referral fee when a loan applied for through KredBaba is actually disbursed. Some partners pay a flat fee per disbursed loan; some pay a small percentage of the disbursed amount.
What we are
We are a Lending Service Provider (LSP) under the RBI's Digital Lending Directions, 2025. We are not a lender: we never lend our own money, never hold or route your funds, and never collect repayments. Disbursal happens directly from the lender's bank account to yours; repayment goes directly back to the lender.
What our incentives do NOT change
- Ranking. Offers are ranked by one disclosed metric only: lowest total cost of credit for your amount and tenure (ties broken by disbursal speed). A partner cannot pay to rank higher. See How we rank.
- Coverage. Review pages cover the whole market, including apps that pay us nothing.
- Honesty. Where a lender's product is a poor fit, our content says so.
What we don't do
- No payments from borrowers, ever
- No selling of leads to entities that are not RBI-regulated lenders with a signed agreement with us
- No "processing charges", "file charges" or any other borrower-side fee — anyone asking in our name is a fraudster; report it on our grievance page
