Credit score bands (क्रेडिट स्कोर बैंड)
Credit score bands are the ranges lenders use to bucket scores on the 300–900 scale, commonly read as roughly: below 600 poor, 600–649 weak, 650–699 fair, 700–749 good, and 750-plus excellent. Bands vary by lender and bureau — the same 710 can be an approve at one lender and a refer at another.
Worked example
At 685 you may still get a short-term personal loan but at a higher rate; crossing 750 typically unlocks better pricing. Two quick levers: keep card utilisation under 30% and never let an EMI slip past its due date.
